So many of you might ask.
WTF do you do with such a beautiful hole?

As mentioned above, it IS a great place to escape, and take naps, and shoot animals from. But gosh darn, nothing is cool till its got a computer so....


I found that the hole was very cool at night and was somehow warm at night. It was very comfortable in there and just a few candles would make it really nice even if it was pretty cold outside. I finished the hatch and that helped keep it warm too.



Now it was pretty dark in the hole with only one window and a closed hatch, especially at night (durrrrrr).
So I got a few old flashlight bulbs, some old CDs, a battery from a broken UPS, some wire, and a faceplate blank from a computer and made this groovy lamp. A solar recharger was planned but I got to lazy and naver finished it.



Now, having a computer in my hole was cool, but what can you do with a computer if you dont have the internet? So I decided to get my hole connected to the almighty world wide web.

Out the window with CatV and extension cord.


Into the back yard.


Over to the shed.


Onto a chair.


Then zapped over to the hole. (its behind those trees)


Then recieved by my totaly awesome camoflaged antenna.



Did I mention how totaly awesome my antenna was?



Down to my laptop.


It worked pretty well. I could cruise the WWIIOL off topic forums and watch deer etc till my batteries ran dead.
I camped out a few times and had a good time. Belle dog thought it was kinda boring...
