After finishing up the roof and window I took all the extra dirt and piled it on top of the hole. I boxed the edges of the hatch hole with 4x4 to make a lip of sorts to keep the dirt out. It worked pretty well.
This is a pic before the lip was added.

Here are pics of the hole from the front view. Where my potential targets would be standing (deer). My house would be to the left, off screen, about 100 yrds. Just behind the hole from this view is my pond about 25 yards away. To the right is HUGE pineforest for like miles etc.




So now that my hole is mostly finished, I go about cleaning up and camoflaging the place.
