Some Traditions are More Meaningful?

This past Valentine’s Day the Natchitoches Jaycees distributed red and white carnations to the local nursing homes.  This has been a regular event for the Jaycees for the last twenty years. This year Mr. Jay Sharplin participated in the distribution for the ninth year in a row.  Mr. Sharplin stated, “It’s something I look forward to every year and wouldn’t miss it.”  Ms. Jackie Presso, a nursing home resident stated, “ It is so nice of the Jaycee’s to come visit us.”  If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Jaycees’ member call President Darin Ellett.  318-663-5783.
